The purpose of Deer Hollow Farm White Barn Structural Stabilization Project is to provide constriction services for the structural stabilization, repairs, and accessibility improvements of the White Barn. The scope of work shall include replacing the roof, replacing damaged siding, stabilizing damaged framing, replacing existing stairs, installing shear walls and seismic braces, improving existing foundations, installing concrete slabs on grade, replacing an existing water fountain, and painting as further detailed and described in the Contract Plans. Bids shall be publicly opened in the District Board Room, at the address above, on July 23, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. or shortly thereafter. Prospected Bidders may submit complete electronic bids via email on or before 11:00 a.m. on July 23, 2020 to Leigh Guggemos, Project Manager at lguggemos@openspace.org. Bidders whom submit electronic bids are required to submit hard copy bid forms and bid bonds via certify U.S. mail on or before 11:00 a.m. on July 23, 2020 to the office of Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, 330 Distel Circle, Los Altos, CA, 94022. Pre-Bid Meetings There are two mandatory pre-bid meetings and site visits scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on July 8, 2020 and 9:00 a.m. July 10, 2020 respectively. ALL BIDDERS MUST ATTEND ONE OF THE MEETINGS. Reservations are required: RSVP to Luke Mulhall by email at lmulhall@openspace.org by 3:00 p.m. on the day prior to receive directions to the meeting location and notice of any weather delays or changes. Due to COVID-19, bidders are limited to bringing one participant to the pre-bid meeting and each time slot will be limited to 4 bidders. If additional time slots are needed to accommodate more bidders, they will be added at 3:00 p.m. on July 8, 2020 and 11:00 a.m. on July 10, 2020.
