The California Black Chamber of Commerce Foundation (CBCC Foundation) cannot think of a more worthy effort than helping the Faith Based Community to accept greater responsibility for their individual communities. Enriching quality of life, as well as, the entire African American community throughout the state of California belongs to the faith based congregation. The CBCC Foundation has a vision of economic and community development for the surrounding neighborhoods for these faith based organizations. The Chamber currently has a faith based division consisting primarily of the California Baptist Convention with a member status of 120 churches and 60,000 members and it is our goal to help redirect their focus to support and encourage their neighbors to create economic and community growth. The vision is to have eventual management and control of communities economically around African American Churches either individually or collectively, Through the leveraging of church assets to create an economic base or by means of joint ventures to bring goods and services to the community to be Operated and managed by the community
